"Halcyon Days" - Original Acrylic Painting - Utah Wild Horses
Back in 2021, I traveled to Utah and captured some photos of the wild horses there. We traveled down the Pony Express Road East of Simpson Springs and found this herd. I couldn’t grab my camera fast enough. It was one of the most magical moments of my entire life. I love those photos so much, and painting them has brought such joy too.
This piece was created on an 8 × 10 wooden cradled canvas. I leave the edges unfinished and raw. The painting is made from acrylic paint and protected with a matte varnish.
